Fleur de la Reine Cigars

Rich and bold, Fleur de la Reine flirts with a kiss of spice on each and every draw.

Some may call it full flavored, but others call it just right.   Fleur de la Reine is made up of a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos surrounded by a Dominican binder, Ecuadoran Sumatra is highlighted in Natural giving it a long smoky finish.

What should you expect from Fleur de la Reine?  The sweet woody and floral notes are balanced by orange spices and earthy notes.

Kicked-up a notch or two is the deep, dark Fleur de la Reine Maduro.  Like stepping into a black tie affair, the dark, oily Maduro wrapper utilizes a U.S.A. Connecticut Broadleaf that is there to impress.   Filler blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos surrounded by a Dominican binder, go perfect not only with the wrapper but with a martini (shaken not stirred).

What should you expect from Fleur de la Reine Maduro?  Sophisticated strength with sweet rich molasses and dark chocolate.

What The Critics Have To Say

While the Maduro reminded me of a Series R, the Fleur de la Reine stands on its own and proudly so. As I sit here I try to compare the two cigars in my head, and while I loved what the Maduro brought to the table, I am absolutely blown away by the Natural. The pralines and cream notes experienced on the Natural left me satisfied and relaxed. What more do you want from a cigar?

The Cigar Authority

There are some cigars that should be the staple of any humidor and the Fleur de la Reine falls into that category. Decisively enjoyable notes and a certain familiarity about it, this is a stick that won’t break the bank, but smokes like it. Box worthy to say the least, the Fleur de la Reine is one of my favorite smokes as of late.

The Cigar Authority

All-in-all, I’ve found myself a new “everyday” cigar. The robusto’s short size makes it the perfect cigar to smoke with friends — or any occasion where time constraints might be an issue. More importantly, at under $6.50 a cigar, the Quatre’s complex maduro wrapper punches far above its weight.
